Misoyaki Butterfish

Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, mix together the white miso paste, mirin, soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil until smooth.

Marinate the Fish
Place the butterfish filets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Crust
In a bowl, combine chopped macadamia nuts, panko breadcrumbs, melted butter, salt, and black pepper.

Coat the Fish
Place the Hawaiian fish filets on a baking sheet. Press the macadamia nut mixture onto the top of each filet.

Bake the Fish
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
Blackened Island Ahi

Prepare the Spice Mix
In a small bowl, mix together paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper.

Rub the spice mix all over the ahi tuna steaks, ensuring they are well coated.
