    Prepare the Fish

    Rinse the snapper fillets under cold water and pat dry. Season with salt and place in a steamer basket.

    Add Aromatics

    Place sliced ginger and half of the chopped green onions on top of the snapper fillets.

Cooking

    Steam the Snapper

    Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, place the steamer basket over the pot and cover. Steam the snapper for about 8-10 minutes, or until cooked through.

    Prepare the Relish

    In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, fresh cilantro, chopped chili, and lime juice to create the aromatic relish.

Serving

    Serve

    Once the snapper is cooked, carefully remove it from the steamer. Drizzle the aromatic relish over the fish and garnish with the remaining chopped green onions. Serve immediately.
