Pineapple Black Bean Dragon Sauce

Method

Spring Roll Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, carrots, cabbage, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Spring Rolls

Take a spring roll wrapper and place 2-3 tablespoons of the filling near one edge. Roll tightly, tucking in the sides as you go. Seal the edge with water. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

  3. 3

    Fry the Spring Rolls

In a deep skillet or fryer, heat the oil over medium heat. Fry the spring rolls in batches until golden brown on all sides. Drain on paper towels and keep warm.

Pineapple Black Bean Dragon Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Make the Sauce

In a saucepan, combine diced pineapple, black beans, soy sauce, honey, and sriracha over medium heat. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Add to the saucepan and stir until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
