Prepare Tartar

Chop Ahi Tuna

Finely dice the Ahi tuna and place it in a mixing bowl.

Add Flavorings

Mince the black garlic and add it to the bowl along with yuzu juice, soy sauce, sesame oil, and chopped chives. Mix gently until combined.

Make Crostini

Prepare Brown Butter

In a pan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Cook until it turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma.

Toast Bread

Brush the sweet roll slices with the brown butter and sprinkle with salt. Toast in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.

Assemble Dish

Plate Tartar

Spoon the Ahi tartar mixture onto each toasted crostini.

Add Toppings

Top each tartar crostini with crispy capers, a drizzle of truffle oil, and a bit of pickled red onion.
