Marinate and Cook Fish

    Prepare the Marinade

    In a bowl, whisk together the miso paste, mirin, sake, and brown sugar until smooth.

    Marinate the Fish

    Place the Alaskan black cod fillets in a shallow dish, pour the marinade over the fish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.

    Cook the Fish

    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Remove the fish from the marinade and place on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Prepare the Vegetables

    Sauté the Bok Choy

    In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the baby bok choy and sauté until tender and bright green, about 3-5 minutes.

Prepare the Rice

    In a large bowl, gently mix the cooked sushi rice with furikake seasoning until evenly distributed.

Serve

    Serve the misoyaki black cod alongside the sautéed baby bok choy and furikake rice. Enjoy your meal!
