Pork Tenderloin

Method

Preparing the Pork Tenderloin

  1. 1

    Sear the Pork

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the pork tenderloin with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork on all sides until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes per side).

  2. 2

    Roast the Pork

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast the pork for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Remove from oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 3

    Prepare the Ingredients

While the pork is resting, slice the mozzarella and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. Slice the pickled peppers if they are not already sliced.

  2. 4

    Build the Sandwich

Slice the potato buns in half. On the bottom half, layer sliced pork tenderloin, mozzarella cheese, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, red sauce, and pickled peppers. Top with the other half of the bun.

Making Parmesan-Herb Fries

  1. 5

    Bake the Fries

Prepare the frozen French fries according to package instructions, usually baking them in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 20-25 minutes until crispy.

  2. 6

    Season the Fries

Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, dried basil, and garlic powder. Toss to coat evenly.
