Dough Preparation

Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.

Mix Dough
In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead
Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Rise
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

Shape Dough
Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out into a circle to fit your pizza pan.

Add Sauce and Cheese
Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.

Add Pepperoni
Arrange the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese, and sprinkle with oregano and crushed red pepper flakes.

Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.

Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy!
