Chicken Tenders

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

In a large bowl, combine the chicken breast tenders with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well to ensure all tenders are evenly coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

  2. 2

    Prepare Breading (Optional)

If you choose to bread the chicken, set up a breading station. In one bowl, place the flour. In a second bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs. Dredge each marinated chicken tender first in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Grilling

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Once hot, place the marinated chicken tenders directly on the grill. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is no longer pink in the center.

  2. 4

    Baking (if breaded)

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the breaded chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

  3. 5

    Serving

Once cooked, remove the chicken tenders from the grill or oven. Allow them to rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with your choice of dipping sauces.
