Strawberry Wine Syrup

Prepare the Sorbet

Blend the Strawberries
Wash and hull the fresh strawberries, then place them in a blender. Blend until smooth.

Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the blended strawberries, bourbon, and lemon juice. Mix well until fully incorporated.

Chill the Mixture
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Churn the Sorbet
Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes, until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

Transfer the sorbet to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

In a small saucepan, combine the strawberry wine, sugar, and water.
