Method

Brownie Base

  1. 1

    Prepare the Batter

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the oil, eggs, food coloring, and vanilla until well combined. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.

  2. 2

    Bake the Brownies

Pour the batter into a greased 9x9 inch baking pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool completely in the pan.

Cream Cheese Mousse

  1. 3

    Make the Mousse

In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Strawberry Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Strawberry Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries are softened and the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and let cool.

Chocolate Sauce

  1. 5

    Make the Chocolate Sauce

In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it starts to simmer. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and the sauce is smooth. Let cool slightly before using.

Sunflower Seed Brittle

  1. 6

    Prepare the Brittle

In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil without stirring until it turns a golden color. Remove from heat and stir in sunflower seeds. Pour onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and let cool completely. Once hardened, break into pieces.
