Infused Vodka

Mimosa Assembly

Method

Infused Vodka

  1. 1

    Prepare the Blueberry Vodka

In a clean jar, combine the blueberries and vodka. Seal the jar tightly and let it sit in a cool, dark place for at least 24 hours to infuse. Shake the jar gently a few times during this period.

  2. 2

    Strain the Infused Vodka

After 24 hours, strain the vodka through a fine mesh sieve to remove the blueberries. Store the infused vodka in a bottle until ready to use.

Mint Lemonade

  1. 3

    Make the Mint Lemonade

In a saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and add the fresh mint leaves. Let it steep for 30 minutes.

  2. 4

    Combine Lemon Juice

After steeping, strain the mint-infused water into a pitcher and discard the mint leaves. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and stir well. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Mimosa Assembly

  1. 5

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the chilled mint lemonade, fresh orange juice, and blueberry-infused vodka. Stir gently to mix.

  2. 6

    Serve the Mimosas

Fill each glass with ice cubes, then pour the mixture into each glass, filling them about halfway. Top each glass with champagne to taste and garnish with additional blueberries or mint sprigs if desired.
