Directions
- 1
Prepare the Coffee
Brew a strong cup of coffee and let it cool. If using, mix in the coffee liqueur.
- 2
Whip the Cream
In a mixing bowl, whip heavy cream with sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- 3
Mix the Mascarpone
In another bowl, whisk the mascarpone cheese until smooth. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone until well combined.
- 4
Soak the Ladyfingers
Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the cooled coffee mixture, ensuring they soak but do not become soggy.
- 5
Layer the Tiramisu
In a serving dish, create a layer of soaked ladyfingers, then spread half of the mascarpone mixture over them. Repeat with another layer of ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- 6
Chill and Serve
Dust the top with cocoa powder. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best flavor. Serve chilled.
