Method
Cooking the Burgers
- 1
Prepare the Patties
Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.
- 3
Cook the Patties
In the same skillet, increase the heat to high. Add the seasoned patties and cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side. Flip the patties, add 2 slices of American cheese on each patty, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until cheese melts.
Crispy Shallots
- 4
Fry the Shallots
Thinly slice the shallots. In a small pan, heat oil over medium heat and fry the sliced shallots until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
House Sauce Preparation
- 5
Mix the Sauce
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, pickle relish, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and set aside.
