Toppings

Method

Cooking the Burgers

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

In the same skillet, increase the heat to high. Add the seasoned patties and cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side. Flip the patties, add 2 slices of American cheese on each patty, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until cheese melts.

Crispy Shallots

  1. 4

    Fry the Shallots

Thinly slice the shallots. In a small pan, heat oil over medium heat and fry the sliced shallots until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

House Sauce Preparation

  1. 5

    Mix the Sauce

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, pickle relish, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and set aside.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Build the Burger

On a toasted burger bun, layer the bottom with lettuce, followed by the double cheeseburger patties, crispy bacon, sliced tomato, and crispy shallots. Drizzle with house sauce and top with the other half of the bun.
