Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mushrooms

Clean the white mushrooms with a damp cloth and slice them. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add the sliced mushrooms, salt, and pepper. Sauté until they are golden brown and tender, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Burger Patties

While the mushrooms are cooking, shape the ground beef into two patties. Season each side with salt and pepper. In another skillet, cook the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, adding a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  3. 3

    Toast the Buns

Lightly toast the burger buns on a separate skillet or in a toaster until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, spread 2 tablespoons of house burger sauce. Layer with lettuce, the cooked patty with melted Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, tomato slices, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the Mushroom Swiss Burger immediately while hot, with additional burger sauce on the side if desired.
