Directions

1

Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil.

2

Steep Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.

3

Sweeten the Tea

Remove the tea bags and stir in 1 cup of sugar until dissolved. If you prefer less sweetness, adjust the amount of sugar to taste.

4

Cool the Tea

Let the tea cool to room temperature before refrigerating it. Once cooled, place it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to chill.

5

Serve

To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves as desired.
