Begin by toasting the sourdough bread slices until they are golden brown and crispy.

Prepare the Avocado
While the bread is toasting, cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.

Mash the Avocado
Using a fork, mash the avocado to your desired consistency. You can leave it chunky or make it smooth.

Add salt, black pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice to the mashed avocado. Mix well to combine.
