Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparation of Salmon

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salmon

Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them on a plate.

  2. 2

    Season the Salmon

Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon fillets. Sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly on both sides of each fillet. Allow the salmon to marinate for about 15 minutes.

Grilling the Salmon

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F or 190°C to 200°C).

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Close the lid and grill for about 6-8 minutes. Carefully flip the fillets and grill for an additional 4-6 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Making Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 5

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the stick of butter.

  2. 6

    Add Lemon Juice and Garlic

Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then, stir in the lemon juice.

  3. 7

    Finish the Sauce

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plate the Salmon

Once the salmon is grilled to your liking, remove it from the grill and place each fillet on a serving plate.

  2. 9

    Top with Sauce

Drizzle the lemon butter sauce generously over the grilled salmon before serving.
