Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Red Rice

In a pot, cook red rice according to package instructions. Typically, this involves rinsing the rice and then simmering it in water (1 cup rice to 2 cups water) for about 30-40 minutes until tender.

  2. 2

    Cook the Filet Mignon

Season the filet mignon with salt and black pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tbsp of butter. Once melted, add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let rest.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Lobster Tail

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the lobster tail down the middle with kitchen shears, then place it on a baking sheet. Melt 1 tbsp of butter and brush it over the lobster meat. Bake for about 12-15 minutes until the lobster is opaque and cooked through.

  4. 4

    Cook the Shrimp

In the same skillet used for the steak, melt the remaining butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and cooked through. Add lemon juice at the end and stir well.

  5. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In another pan, add a little butter or oil and sauté the mixed vegetables over medium heat until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. 6

    Plate the Dish

On a plate, place a serving of red rice, top it with the filet mignon, lobster tail, and shrimp scampi. Arrange the sautéed vegetables on the side. Serve immediately.
