Method

For service on the rocks

  1. 1

    Prepare glass

Select a chilled rocks glass. Place one large ice cube (or 3–4 chilled ice cubes) in the glass.

  2. 2

Pour 2 oz of the house-aged silver tequila directly over the ice.

  3. 3

Gently stir once or twice to slightly chill and integrate the spirit with the meltwater. Do not over-dilute — aim for about 15–20 seconds total contact with ice.

  4. 4

Express an orange peel over the glass (optional): hold peel over drink, skin-side down, give it a sharp twist to release oils, then rub peel around rim and drop into the glass or discard per preference.

  5. 5

Serve immediately with a small spoon or short stirring straw for sipping.

For neat service

  1. 6

If serving neat, optionally warm a rocks or Glencairn-style glass by rinsing with hot water, then dry thoroughly so no water remains.

  2. 7

Pour 2 oz of the house-aged silver tequila into the glass.

  3. 8

Present without ice. Offer an expressed orange peel on request.
