Gather Ingredients
Collect all the ingredients needed for the Saratoga cocktail: 291 Rye, Cherry Heering, Averna Amaro, and Tobacco Bitters.

Chill the Glass
Place a cocktail glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while you prepare the drink.

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 2 oz of 291 Rye Whiskey, 1 oz of Cherry Heering, and 0.5 oz of Averna Amaro.

Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of Tobacco Bitters to the mixture.

Stir
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled and diluted.

Strain into Glass
Remove the cocktail glass from the freezer or discard the ice water. Use a strainer to pour the mixed cocktail into the chilled glass.

Garnish
Garnish the drink with a maraschino cherry on top and an orange twist on the rim.
