Hibiscus Syrup Preparation

Step 1: Boil Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Step 2: Add Hibiscus
Once the water is boiling, add 1 cup of dried hibiscus flowers. Stir and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

Step 3: Strain the Mixture
After simmering, remove the saucepan from heat and strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl to remove the hibiscus flowers.

Step 5: Add Lemon Juice
Once the sugar has dissolved, stir in 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Let the syrup cool completely.

Step 1: Prepare Pineapple
Peel and chop the medium-sized pineapple into bite-sized pieces.

In a large glass or pitcher, combine 1/2 cup of the prepared hibiscus syrup with the chopped pineapple and mix well.

Pour in 2 cups of soda water and add ice cubes to the mixture. Stir gently to combine.

Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a refreshing touch.
