Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure it's hot enough to roast the cauliflower evenly.
- 2
Prepare the Cauliflower
Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower head. Cut it into florets of similar size to ensure even cooking.
Roasting
- 3
Season the Cauliflower
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the florets are evenly coated.
- 4
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Spread the seasoned cauliflower florets in a single layer on a baking sheet. Make sure they are not overcrowded for even roasting.
- 5
Roast the Cauliflower
Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the florets are golden brown and tender, stirring halfway through for even cooking.
Finishing Touch
- 6
Add Capers and Lemon Juice
Once the cauliflower is roasted, remove it from the oven and immediately drizzle with lemon juice. Sprinkle the capers over the top and toss gently to combine.
