Method

Preparation of Fish

  1. 1

    Slice the Salmon

Using a sharp knife, slice the King Salmon fillet into thin sashimi-style pieces. Aim for even slices to ensure a beautiful presentation.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Fish

Place the sliced salmon in a bowl and drizzle with soy sauce. Gently toss to coat all pieces evenly. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes while you prepare the other ingredients.

Preparation of Vegetables and Fruits

  1. 3

    Prepare Vegetables

Dice the bell pepper and mango, and thinly slice the cucumber. Add all these ingredients to a mixing bowl.

  2. 4

    Add Lime Juice

Squeeze the juice of 2 limes over the diced vegetables and fruits in the mixing bowl. Mix gently to combine and allow to sit for 5 minutes to enhance flavors.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a large serving dish, arrange the marinated salmon on one side. Spoon the mixed vegetables and fruits on the other side, ensuring there’s a balance in presentation.

  2. 6

    Garnish

Sprinkle the toasted coconut flakes over the dish, and add crispy plantain chips around the edges for a crunchy texture.
