Method

Waffle Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar until well combined.

  2. 2

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

  3. 3

    Combine Wet and Dry

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.

  4. 4

    Preheat Waffle Iron

Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  5. 5

    Cook the Waffles

Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook until golden brown and crispy. This usually takes about 5-7 minutes, depending on your waffle maker.

Nutella Whipped Cream Preparation

  1. 6

    Whip the Cream

In a large mixing bowl, pour the heavy whipping cream. Using an electric mixer, beat on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.

  2. 7

    Add Nutella and Sugar

Add the Nutella and powdered sugar to the whipped cream. Continue to beat until the mixture is well combined and stiff peaks form.

Serving

  1. 8

    Assemble the Waffles

Place the cooked waffles on serving plates. Top each waffle with a generous dollop of Nutella whipped cream.

  2. 9

    Add Toppings

Sprinkle toasted hazelnuts over the whipped cream and drizzle warm maple syrup on top.

  3. 10

    Serve Immediately

Serve the Nutella waffles immediately while warm and enjoy!
