Preparation of Halibut

Marinate the Halibut
In a small bowl, mix together the white miso paste, soy sauce, and sesame oil until smooth. Place the Pacific Halibut fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the fillets are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Sauté the Spinach
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of chili oil over medium heat. Add the grated ginger and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the fresh spinach and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Sauté until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare the Fresno Chili
Slice the Fresno chili thinly, removing seeds if desired for less heat. Set aside for garnish.
