Chill the Glass
Begin by chilling your cocktail glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and letting it sit while you prepare the cocktail.

Prepare the Mixing Glass
In a mixing glass, add 2 oz of Distillery 291 Rye, 0.5 oz of Luxardo Cherry Liqueur, and 0.25 oz of Absinthe.

Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of bitters to the mixing glass.

Add Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes—about 1 cup—until it's nearly full.

Stir the Cocktail
Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled and combined.

Strain into Glass
Discard the ice water from the chilled cocktail glass and strain the mixed cocktail into the glass.

Garnish your cocktail with a Luxardo Maraschino Cherry and a strip of orange peel for added aroma.
