Basil Hayden's Bourbon Cocktail

Chill the Glass
Begin by chilling a cocktail glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and setting it aside while you prepare the cocktail.

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 2 oz of Basil Hayden's Bourbon, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.

Add Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes (about 1 cup) and stir gently for about 30 seconds to chill and dilute the mixture.

Empty the ice water from the chilled cocktail glass. Using a strainer, pour the mixed cocktail into the glass.
