In a large mixing bowl, combine mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and avocado.
Add either grilled chicken or smoked salmon on top of the salad base.
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine. Serve immediately.
