Method

Rib Tips Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Rib Tips

In a large bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Rub this spice mixture all over the pork rib tips.

  2. 2

    Cook the Rib Tips

Preheat your grill or oven to medium heat. Place the rib tips on the grill or in a baking dish and cook for about 30 minutes, turning occasionally.

  3. 3

    Add Barbecue Sauce

In the last 10 minutes of cooking, brush the barbecue sauce generously over the rib tips to caramelize.

Fresh-Cut Fries Preparation

  1. 4

    Prep the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips for fries.

  2. 5

    Fry the Potatoes

In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the potato strips in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 6

    Season the Fries

Remove fries from oil and drain on paper towels. While hot, sprinkle with salt.

Slaw Preparation

  1. 7

    Prepare the Vegetables

Thinly slice the cabbage and grate the carrots. Place them in a large bowl.

  2. 8

    Make the Dressing

In a separate bowl, mix together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and salt.

  3. 9

    Combine and Chill

Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots. Toss well to coat and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Baked Potato Preparation

  1. 10

    Bake the Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Prick the potatoes with a fork and place them directly on the oven rack. Bake for about 45-60 minutes until tender.

  2. 11

    Serve with Toppings

Cut a slit in the top of each potato and fluff with a fork. Serve with butter and sour cream on the side.

Serving

  1. 12

    Plate the Dinner

Arrange the rib tips on a plate alongside a portion of fresh-cut fries or a baked potato. Add a side of slaw and a dinner roll.
