Method

Grilled Cheese Sandwich

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sandwich

Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place one slice, buttered side down, on a skillet over medium heat. Layer the cheese on top, then place the second slice of bread, buttered side up.

  2. 2

    Grill the Sandwich

Cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden.

  3. 3

    Slice and Serve

Remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice it in half, and serve warm.

Fries

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to create fries.

  2. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a deep pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  3. 6

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 5-7 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

  4. 7

    Drain and Season

Remove the fries from the oil and drain them on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt to taste and serve immediately with the grilled cheese sandwich.
