Main Ingredients

Method

Cooking the Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Linguine

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Preparing the Chicken

  1. 2

    Sauté the Chicken

While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper, then add it to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Making the Sauce

  1. 3

    Prepare the Sauce

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the white wine, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.

  2. 4

    Add Artichokes and Tomatoes

Stir in the grilled artichoke hearts and cherry tomatoes. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the tomatoes start to soften.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 5

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the drained linguine to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to combine, ensuring the pasta is well coated. If desired, add a little pasta water to loosen the sauce.

  2. 6

    Finish the Dish

Slice the sautéed chicken and place it on top of the linguine. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil before serving.
