Cooking the Pork

Prepare the Pork
Trim any excess fat from the pork shoulder and cut it into large chunks.

Season the Pork
In a large bowl, combine salt, black pepper, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork pieces.

Cook the Pork
Place the seasoned pork in a slow cooker. Add orange juice, lime juice, and water. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.

Shred the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix it with the juices.
Assembling the Tacos

Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet over medium heat, warm each corn tortilla for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

Fill the Tacos
Spoon a generous amount of the shredded pork onto each tortilla.

Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
