Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

In a large pot, bring 2 liters of water to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and the spaghetti. Cook according to package instructions until al dente.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Sauce

While the pasta is cooking, in a large mixing bowl, combine the grated Pecorino Romano cheese and freshly cracked black pepper.

  3. 3

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve about 1 cup of the pasta water, then drain the spaghetti. Immediately add the hot spaghetti to the bowl with the cheese and pepper mixture. Toss quickly to combine, adding reserved pasta water gradually until a creamy sauce forms.

  4. 4

    Serve

Serve immediately, garnished with extra Pecorino Romano cheese and more black pepper to taste.
