Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the stuffed mushrooms.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Mushrooms

Clean the portobello mushrooms with a damp paper towel. Remove the stems and gills using a spoon to create space for the stuffing.

Making the Filling

  1. 3

    Mix the Stuffing

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and smooth.

Stuffing the Mushrooms

  1. 4

    Fill the Mushrooms

Using a spoon, generously fill each portobello mushroom cap with the cheese and herb mixture, pressing down slightly to ensure it’s packed in.

Baking

  1. 5

    Oil and Bake

Drizzle olive oil over the stuffed mushrooms. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve Hot

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious stuffed mushrooms warm!
