Method

Brochette Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, combine truffle oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly to create the marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Beef

Cut the beef tenderloin into 1-inch cubes. Place the cubes in a large bowl and pour the marinade over the beef. Toss to coat evenly. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Skewers

Soak wooden skewers in water for 15 minutes to prevent burning. Thread the marinated beef cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

Cooking the Brochette

  1. 4

    Broil the Beef Skewers

Preheat the broiler. Place the skewers on a broiler pan and broil for about 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.

Wild Rice Preparation

  1. 5

    Cook the Wild Rice

In a medium saucepan, combine wild rice, water, and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 45-50 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.

String Beans Preparation

  1. 6

    Sauté the String Beans

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the string beans, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until the beans are tender-crisp.
