Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring water to a rolling boil. Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor.

  2. 2

    Cook Pasta

Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Drain Pasta

Once the pasta is cooked, drain it in a colander and set aside.

Preparing Vegetables

  1. 4

    Chop Vegetables

While the pasta is cooking, chop the zucchini, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, carrots, and broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 5

    Sauté Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped vegetables and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

Making the Sauce

  1. 6

    Add Garlic

Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  2. 7

    Season the Mixture

Add salt and black pepper to the vegetable mixture and stir well.

  3. 8

    Combine Pasta and Vegetables

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour in the remaining olive oil and toss everything together until well mixed.

  4. 9

    Finish with Cheese and Basil

Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil, mixing until cheese is melted and evenly distributed.

Serving

  1. 10

    Plate the Dish

Serve the Pasta Primavera warm, garnished with additional Parmesan and basil if desired.
