Dough Preparation

Prepare the Dough
In a medium saucepan, combine water, unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Add Flour
Once boiling, remove from heat and quickly stir in the all-purpose flour until the mixture forms a ball.

Incorporate Eggs
Allow the dough to cool for a few minutes, then beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
Frying the Churros

Heat the Oil
In a deep pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (180°C).

Pipe the Dough
Using a piping bag fitted with a star tip, pipe strips of dough into the hot oil, cutting them to your desired length.

Fry until Golden
Fry the churros for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown. Remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.

In a shallow dish, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.

In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add the semi-sweet chocolate chips, stirring until melted and smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract.
