Method

Crust Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).

  2. 2

    Combine Crust Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Form the Crust

Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even layer.

  4. 4

    Bake the Crust

Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove and allow to cool slightly.

Filling Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add in the granulated sugar, sour cream, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

  2. 6

    Add Eggs

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Be careful not to overmix.

  3. 7

    Incorporate Flour

Finally, add the all-purpose flour and mix until just combined.

  4. 8

    Pour Filling into Crust

Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust in the springform pan.

  5. 9

    Bake the Cheesecake

Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.

  6. 10

    Cool and Chill

Turn off the oven and crack the door open. Allow the cheesecake to cool in the oven for 1 hour. Remove from oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
