Dumpling Filling
Method
Dumpling Preparation
- 1
Make the Filling
In a bowl, combine ground pork, shredded carrots, minced garlic, minced ginger, fish sauce, soy sauce, white pepper, and chopped green onions. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- 2
Fill the Dumplings
Take a dumpling wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half, and press to seal. Repeat this process until all the filling is used.
- 3
Cook the Dumplings
You can either steam, grill, or deep fry the dumplings based on your choice. For steaming, place dumplings in a steamer basket over boiling water for about 10-12 minutes. For grilling, place dumplings on a grill pan and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side. For deep frying, heat oil in a deep pan and fry the dumplings until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- 4
Serve
Serve the dumplings hot with Renoo's dumpling soy sauce or sweet and sour sauce if deep fried.
