Fried Shrimp Rolls

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Woon Sen Noodles

Soak the woon sen noodles in hot water for about 10 minutes until softened. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Filling

In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, shrimp, soaked noodles, carrot, cabbage, green onions, and minced garlic. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Rolls

Soak each rice paper wrapper in warm water for about 10 seconds until pliable. Lay the wrapper flat and place about 2 tablespoons of the filling mixture in the center. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly from the bottom to the top. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

  4. 4

    Fry the Rolls

In a deep frying pan or pot, heat oil over medium-high heat. Carefully add the shrimp rolls in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the fried shrimp rolls hot with Renoos special sweet and sour dipping sauce on the side.
