Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare Ingredients

Chop the onion, carrot, and bell pepper into small pieces. Mince the garlic and set aside. If using meat, cut it into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Cook the Egg

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the pan, scramble until fully cooked, and then remove them from the pan. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Stir Fry Vegetables and Meat

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add garlic and onion, and sauté until fragrant. Then, add the meat of your choice and cook until browned.

  4. 4

    Add Remaining Vegetables

Add the chopped carrots and bell pepper to the skillet. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.

  5. 5

    Combine Rice and Seasoning

Add the cooked rice to the skillet. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce. Stir well to combine all ingredients. Add the cooked eggs, basil leaves, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is heated through.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the drunken fried rice hot, garnished with additional basil if desired.
