Prepare the Dumplings

Mix the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Fill the Wontons
Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the pork mixture into the center of the wrapper. Moisten the edges with a little water, fold the wrapper over to form a triangle, and press the edges to seal. You can also bring the corners together to form a pouch if desired. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

Cook the Dumplings
Gently drop the dumplings into the simmering dashi broth. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the dumplings float and the pork is cooked through.

Plate the Dish
Ladle the broth with dumplings and vegetables into bowls. Garnish with additional chopped green onions if desired. Serve hot.
