Dumplings

Method

Dumplings

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

  2. 2

    Fill the Wontons

Place a teaspoon of the pork mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper over the filling to form a triangle, and press to seal. Ensure there are no air pockets.

Broth

  1. 3

    Make the Broth

In a large pot, heat chicken broth over medium heat. Add sliced carrots, mushrooms, and snow peas. Stir in soy sauce, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 10 minutes until vegetables are tender.

Toppings

  1. 4

    Cook the Proteins

In a wok or large skillet, heat vegetable oil over high heat. Add chicken, beef, and shrimp in batches, stir-frying each until cooked through (about 3-4 minutes each). Remove and set aside.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Cook the Dumplings

In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Add the dumplings and cook for about 3-5 minutes, or until they float to the surface and are cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  2. 6

    Combine and Serve

In serving bowls, place a portion of the broth and vegetables. Add cooked dumplings on top, and finish with the wok-seared chicken, beef, and shrimp. Serve hot and enjoy!
