Slice the Beef
Thinly slice the beef sirloin against the grain into strips.

Chop the Vegetables
Slice the onion into thin wedges and chop the scallions into 1-inch pieces.
Cooking

Marinate the Beef
In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, Mongolian spice mix, sesame oil, and chili paste. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Stir-Fry the Beef
In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
