Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Dice the fresh shrimp and scallops into small, uniform pieces. Trim the snow peas and slice the green onions. Grate the fresh ginger and mince the garlic.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Make the Broth

In a large pot, combine the chicken or vegetable broth, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.

  2. 3

    Add the Seafood

Once the broth is simmering, add the diced shrimp and scallops to the pot. Allow to cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through and opaque.

  3. 4

    Add Tofu and Snow Peas

Gently stir in the cubed extra soft tofu and trimmed snow peas. Let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat the tofu and soften the peas.

  4. 5

    Season the Soup

Taste the soup and season with salt and black pepper according to your preference. Stir in the sliced green onions just before serving.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve the Soup

Ladle the hot Sifu Tofu Soup into bowls and serve immediately. Enjoy your delicious and comforting soup!
