Beef Preparation

Slice the Beef
Thinly slice the flank steak against the grain into bite-sized pieces.

Season the Beef
In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with salt and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

Coat with Cornstarch
Add cornstarch to the seasoned beef and toss until all pieces are well-coated.
Sesame Sauce Preparation

Combine Sauce Ingredients
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and minced ginger until the sugar is dissolved.

Toast Sesame Seeds
In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast sesame seeds for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Set aside.
Cooking

Wok Toss the Beef
Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat with a splash of oil. Add the coated beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned and crispy.

Add Sauce
Pour the sesame sauce over the cooked beef and stir to coat. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until heated through.

Garnish
Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the beef just before serving.
