Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Beef

In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the beef is marinating, prepare the garlic, ginger, onion, bell pepper, and cilantro. Set aside.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Toast Cumin Seeds

In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast the cumin seeds for about 2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.

  2. 4

    Stir-fry the Beef

In a large wok or skillet, heat the vegetable oil over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  3. 5

    Cook the Vegetables

In the same pan, add the minced garlic, ginger, sliced onion, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

  4. 6

    Combine and Finish

Return the beef to the pan, add the toasted cumin seeds, and stir to combine everything. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

Serving

  1. 7

    Garnish

Serve the cumin beef hot, garnished with chopped cilantro and green onions on top.
