Prepare the Ingredients
Thinly slice the beef and cube the firm tofu. Slice the carrot and mushrooms, and chop the green onions.

Mince Garlic and Grate Ginger
Mince the garlic cloves and grate the ginger, setting them aside for later use.
Cooking

Cook the Beef
In a large pot, heat a tablespoon of sesame oil over medium heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Add Broth and Vegetables
Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add the sliced carrots, mushrooms, and soy sauce. Reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.

Add Tofu
Gently add the cubed tofu to the pot and simmer for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the tofu to absorb the flavors.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped green onions just before serving.
