Salad Preparation
- 1
Grilling the Chicken
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Preparing the Cherry Vinaigrette
In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup of Michigan cherries, 1/4 cup of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar, 1 tablespoon of honey, and salt and pepper to taste. Blend until smooth and adjust seasoning as needed.

Assembling the Salad
In a large bowl, combine the fresh spinach, grilled chicken slices, remaining Michigan cherries, chopped walnuts, and crumbled blue cheese. Drizzle the cherry vinaigrette over the salad and toss gently to combine.
