Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all the ingredients and slice the corned beef if it's not already sliced.
- 2
Assemble the Sandwich
Spread Russian dressing on one side of each slice of rye bread. On two slices, layer the corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese. Top with the other slices of rye bread, dressing side down.
- 3
Grill the Sandwich
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Once melted, place the assembled sandwich in the skillet. Grill for about 4-5 minutes until the bread is golden brown.
- 4
Flip and Finish
Add the remaining tablespoon of butter to the skillet, flip the sandwich, and grill the other side for an additional 4-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
- 5
Serve
Remove the sandwich from the skillet, cut in half, and serve hot with extra Russian dressing on the side if desired.
